These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Savvymints.com and any related pages we operate (together, the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Please read Section 12 carefully. It limits our liability to you, and Section 15 explains how disputes are resolved.

1. Who we are

The Site is operated by Savvymints (“Savvymints”, “we”, “us” or “our”). In these Terms, “you” means the person using the Site.

2. What the Site is — and what it is not

Savvymints is an independent, advertising-supported publisher and comparison service. We present information about credit cards and other financial products so you can compare them in one place.

We are not a bank, lender, credit card issuer, broker, or financial adviser. We do not issue credit, approve applications, set rates, or make credit decisions. Every product shown is offered by a third-party issuer under that issuer's own terms. Any application you make is between you and that issuer.

3. Advertiser disclosure and how we are paid

We are compensated by the companies whose products appear on the Site — typically when you click a link or apply for a product. This compensation may affect which products we feature and the order in which they appear. It does not change the factual product details we publish, and it is not a recommendation that a product is right for you.

We do not review or feature every product available in the market. Our listings are not a complete survey of the marketplace.

4. Our ratings are opinions

Star ratings, “best for” labels and similar editorial judgments are our opinions. They are general in nature, are not personalised to your circumstances, and are not a guarantee of the value or suitability of any product. Reasonable people may weigh the same factors differently.

5. No financial, legal or tax advice

Nothing on the Site is financial, legal, tax or other professional advice, and nothing on it is an offer or solicitation to buy any financial product. Consider your own circumstances and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional before making a financial decision.

6. Accuracy of product information

Rates, fees, rewards, intro offers, eligibility rules and other product terms change frequently, and issuers may change them without telling us. We take reasonable care to keep the Site accurate but we cannot guarantee that every detail is current, complete or error-free.

Always confirm the terms on the issuer's own website or in the issuer's disclosures before you apply. The issuer's terms control — not ours.

7. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) and a resident of [[COUNTRY / eligible states]] to use the Site. By using it you confirm that you meet these requirements.

8. Information you give us, and your consent to be contacted

Parts of the Site ask for your email address and, in some cases, your phone number. When you submit them, you agree that:

  • the information you give us is accurate and belongs to you;
  • we and our advertising partners may contact you about offers, including by email;
  • if you provide a phone number, you consent to receive calls and/or text messages at that number relating to the offers you asked about — including calls placed using automated dialling technology or a pre-recorded or artificial voice;
  • this consent is not a condition of purchasing anything;
  • message and data rates may apply, and call frequency varies.

You can withdraw consent at any time — see the Privacy Policy for how, or reply STOP to a text message, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • submit anyone else's personal information, or information you know to be false;
  • use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purpose;
  • scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically copy the Site or its content except as permitted by our robots file;
  • interfere with or attempt to disrupt the Site, its security, or the servers or networks that support it;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or any account;
  • reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the Site except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

10. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, layout, graphics, editorial ratings, and the Savvymints name and logo — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

Third-party names, logos and card images are the property of their respective owners and are used to identify their products. Their appearance on the Site does not imply endorsement of us by those owners.

11. Links to third-party sites

The Site links to websites we do not operate, including issuers' application pages. We are not responsible for the content, products, security or privacy practices of those sites. Once you leave the Site, the destination site's own terms and privacy policy apply. Follow those links at your own risk.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site — even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will not exceed [[CURRENCY + AMOUNT, e.g. USD 100]].

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Savvymints and its officers, employees and agents from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your submissions, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

14. Changes to the Site and to these Terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Site after that means you accept the updated Terms. Please check back periodically.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [[STATE / COUNTRY]], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [[VENUE]] for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

If you intend to include a binding arbitration clause and class-action waiver, it must be drafted and reviewed by your lawyer — these clauses have strict disclosure and formatting requirements and are unenforceable if they are copied carelessly.

16. General

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
